A beautiful perennial flowering plant known for its striking white flower spikes with long whisker-like stamens, giving the appearance of a cat’s whiskers.

This plant makes a fantastic companion plant in the garden, helping to attract bees and other pollinators.

Java Tea grows into an attractive bush reaching up to 1.5 metres tall, making it a great addition to food forests, herb gardens, and tropical plantings.

Care

  • Plant in full sun or partial shade

  • Prefers rich, well-drained soil

  • Keep regularly watered

  • Evergreen in warm climates

This plant can also be easily propagated from stem cuttings.
