LCA Root Tabs (Slow Release)

Enhance the growth of your aquatic plants with the LCA Root Tabs. Our slow-release formula is packed with essential micro and macro nutrients to promote lush and healthy plant growth. Target specific root-feeding plants in your tank with ease, ensuring their optimal nourishment.

Directions:

  • Insert 1 capsule every 10-15cm in a grid-like pattern
  • Place one tablet midway into the gravel bed next to every root-feeding plant such as Echinodorus and Crypt species
  • Ensure they are placed deep enough into the substrate to prevent leaching into the water column
  • Replace every 6-8 weeks or as needed based on plant usage

I was expecting an unflavored fiber powder. However, expect a sour/tart taste. This means you can't add it to tea or coffee. I don't think it is appropriate to say that it is "unflavored" as I've had psyllium husk from other vendors that are truly "unflavored" (i.e. no citric acid). Dextrin (another fiber source) is also unflavored. But this Metamucil is tart (like sucking a lime) and can only be added to tart juices like orange juice or lemonade.
