Stargazer lilies are a type of oriental lily hybrid plant that can add stunning colors and fragrant aromas to any garden. Apart from looking stunning, gardeners love to grow Stargazer lily plants because they grow tall and are easy to grow.
Although their flowers look like stars, Stargazer lilies get their name from the fact that the stems grow tall, and the flowers look to the heavens. Stargazer lilies thrive well even in poor soil and can grow to a height of 3 to 5 ft. Each stem can produce between 2 and 8 colorful flowers measuring around 6″ in diameter.
Plant in groups of threes for a nice look, 12" apart, and 4-6" deep. Easily grown in average soil with good drainage in a sunny to part shade location. Just think cool roots and sunny flowers (plant where the roots will stay cool among other plants (or mulch) and where the flower stalks will be in full sun) for best results.
