The Reka Blueberry (Vaccinium corymbosum) is an early-season Northern Highbush variety celebrated for its vigorous growth, adaptability, and delicious sweet-tart flavor. Bred in New Zealand, Reka thrives in a wide range of soils — even slightly wetter conditions — making it a standout performer in gardens, edible landscapes, and containers alike.

Our 1 liter Reka Blueberry plants are strong, two-year-old bare-root specimens that establish quickly and fruit early in their life. Reka’s dense growth and high productivity deliver abundant clusters of medium-sized, juicy berries among lush green foliage that glows orange-red in fall.

Growing Information

Plant Reka Blueberry in acidic, well-draining soil (pH 4.5–5.5) enriched with organic matter. Choose a sunny location (6–8 hours/day) and maintain consistent soil moisture. Space plants 4–5 ft apart; mulch with pine bark or wood chips to retain moisture and protect shallow roots.
