Black Pagoda lipstick is an epiphytic vining plant that is well adapted as an indoor plant.  This species is known for their semi-succulent foliage and yellow/orange blooms. 

The foliage is oval shaped, dark green to black with green markings.  The undersides of the leaves tend to be purple or black.

To promote blooms on Black Pagoda lipstick, these plants need to be placed in very bright indirect light.  

Caring for your Black Pagoda is pretty easy.  This species prefers a well draining soil that is rich in organic matter.  Allow your plant to dry out almost completely between watering, taking care to not allow it to sit in excess water.  Provide it with medium to bright indirect light.

They’re very adjustable so if you have feet that swell (or just fatter feet like me) these should be able to accommodate you. They are clunky but really cute! They’re also easy to clean. They will occasionally trip you up if you’re not careful, the same way Ugg boots can do, but that hasn’t been a big problem for me. They’re very lightweight and versatile. Love them! Update: I probably just wore these too hard because today I was walking the school hallway and the shoe just snapped. One of the sides was completely unattached and within 30 minutes they were only on my foot by one strap. Super disappointed!! But I loved them enough that I ordered another pair to get me through until boot weather.
