Fertilize regularly and keep soil moisture constant or plant them around a water feature or other wet area. The huge leaves steal the show wherever they grow. Elephant Ears are not frost tolerant so if you live in a colder zone, dig the tubers once the leaves have died back and store in a cool area until the next spring. Great as container plants too – you can plant as annuals, or protect your containers from frost over the winter, and Elephant Ears will reappear even bigger the following year. (30-60" tall x 30-60"wide)
