The Dieffenbachia (Dieffenbachia), also known here as Dumb Cane, is a very decorative house plant. The plant looks upright and compact, with several leaves standing like little fans in all directions.
Dieffenbachias like a bright spot away from direct midday sun. They cope with partial shade as well, although the leaf pattern then becomes a little less pronounced. With watering, we keep the soil evenly slightly moist. We pour off any standing water from the decorative pot.
Important to know: as with many arum family plants, the sap and plant parts should be kept out of reach of pets and small children. When repotting, it is best to wear gloves.
