Care Tips
Light: It does not require a lot of light, as long as it is shaded in summer during the maintenance period. It cannot receive too much light, so it should be shaded when the sun is strong, and it can receive sufficient light in spring and winter. The environment should not be too dark, otherwise it will cause excessive growth of the plant and affect its shape.
Water: The Cliff Cotyledon plant does not need a very frequent water supply as it can store water in its leaves. Also, it does not like its roots to remain wet for the long term as it can create problems such as root rotting. So, you should provide them water once the soil in their pots starts to dry. You should check the soil for dryness and after that, decide about watering. If the soil is moist, you should not water your plants. You can provide them water once every 8 to 10 days during the summer. But in the winter and cold regions, watering once every 15 to 20 days would be enough.
Soil: Good air permeability and drainage ability is needed, and the clay of the soil should not be too large. You can mix succulent soil, peat soil, vermiculite and the right amount of granular pumice, so that the soil is more conducive to the growth of plant roots.
Potting: It is recommended to use ceramic pots because they are very absorbent, so even if you accidentally water too much you are not too worried, which greatly alleviates the side effects of overwatering the plants.
Temperature: The Cliff Cotyledon plant needs moderately warm temperatures to grow and thrive. If the temperatures are extremely low, or extremely high, it would not reach its potential growth rate. If you are growing it outside its natural habitat area, you should make sure to maintain the temperature in a moderate range. The Cliff Cotyledon plant needs the temperature to remain between 30 °F to 50°F or -1 to 10 °C. If the temperature falls below this during the winter, then you should keep your plant indoors and protect it from the harsh cold weather and snow.
Humidity: Cliff Cotyledon grows well in average household humidity levels when grown indoors. Normal household humidity is good for this plant.

Care Instructions

To ensure the health of succulents, it is important to plant them in porous, well-draining soil. Succulents require little watering, but don't like to sit in wet soil. To create an adequate cactus mix, simply add pumice, perlite, or grit to cactus soil to provide the proper drainage.
Make sure to leave drought periods between waterings to prevent the plant from water-logging.
